🚀 System, Network & Cloud Administrator
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including architecture design and implementation.
- System Infrastructure & Administration:
- Maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure (Windows/Linux).
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, backups, and user administration.
- Ensure system uptime, health, and compliance with IT policies.
- Networking:
- Support network design, configuration, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, firewalls, DNS, VPN).
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless connectivity and security across systems.
- Systems Analysis:
- Gather and analyze technical and business requirements to develop IT solutions.
- Identify system inefficiencies and recommend enhancements or automation strategies.
- Cloud Engineering & Automation:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Roles and Responsibilities:
🔹 1. Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Manage cloud backups, disaster recovery plans, and high availability configurations.
- Support cloud migration efforts from on-prem to cloud platforms.
🔹 2. System Infrastructure and Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux).
- Perform routine system upgrades, patch management, and system health checks.
- Manage system access, permissions, and user roles in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure infrastructure resilience, performance tuning, and resource utilization.
🔹 3. Networking and Connectivity
- Support LAN/WAN operations, including routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with network teams to implement secure and efficient architectures.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining network monitoring tools.
🔹 4. Systems Analysis
- Gather and evaluate business and technical requirements to recommend IT solutions.
- Conduct system impact analysis and identify opportunities for automation or improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and system specifications.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
 🔹 5. Cloud Engineering and Automation
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Ensure compliance with DevSecOps best practices in cloud deployments.
🔹 6. Security and Compliance
- Implement and monitor cloud and system security controls (IAM, encryption, auditing).
- Work with InfoSec teams to maintain compliance with standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.
- Perform risk assessments and support vulnerability remediation across systems.
- Ensure proper logging, alerting, and incident response mechanisms are in place.
🔹 7. Support and Troubleshooting
- Serve as Level 2/3 escalation for infrastructure-related incidents.
- Respond to system outages and resolve critical infrastructure issues promptly.
- Provide technical support during deployments, testing, and rollouts.
- Maintain accurate logs, ticket records, and change management documentation.
✅ Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: VMware (VCP), Linux (RHCE, LPIC), or similar.
- Experience with online platforms, especially travel or booking portals.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
