Job Description

We are looking for an intern Project Manager to learn and oversee the end-to-end development, deployment, and launch of our innovative In-house product development. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and executing projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality standards, and smooth collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams.

Training will be provided initially part of this role

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Project Planning & Management

• Define and develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones for the travel portal.
  
• Clearly outline project scope, deliverables, budget, and resources required.
  
• Manage the full project lifecycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

🔹 Team Coordination & Leadership

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, DevOps, QA engineers, and database administrators.
  
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and reviews.
  
• Resolve team conflicts promptly and maintain team morale and productivity.
  

🔹 Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to management.
  
• Clearly communicate project goals, expectations, and deliverables to the team and stakeholders.
  

🔹 Risk Management & Issue Resolution

• Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues proactively.
  
• Maintain a risk register and manage risk effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Ensure issues are identified and resolved quickly to minimize project delays.
  

🔹 Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor and manage project budget, resource allocation, and spending.
  
• Optimize resource usage to maximize efficiency and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  
• Regularly report financial status and forecast future project expenses.
  

🔹 Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO standards).
  
• Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
  
• Work closely with QA engineers to implement best practices for testing and bug management.
  

🔹 Vendor & Third-Party Coordination

• Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party API providers.
  
• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely and quality delivery of third-party services.
  
• Maintain ongoing vendor performance reviews and issue resolution.
  

🔹 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed project documentation (project plans, status reports, requirement specifications, meeting minutes).
  
• Produce regular progress reports and performance metrics for senior management.
  
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
  

🔹 Deployment & Go-Live Management

• Oversee final deployment stages, coordinating with DevOps and infrastructure teams.
  
• Plan and execute successful project launches and post-launch support.
  
• Manage user feedback, conduct post-launch reviews, and oversee continuous improvement.
  

🌟 Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience (3-5+ years) as a Project Manager, preferably
  
• Solid understanding of Agile project management methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  
• Experience managing web-based projects, integrations, and third-party API relationships.
  
• Familiarity with web technologies (Python, JavaScript frameworks, MySQL databases).
  
• Strong knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab/GitHub, and MS Project.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking abilities.
  
• Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, Scrum Master) preferred but not required.

Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from product owners. Translate complex business requirements into clear and concise specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Conduct detailed analysis to identify and document process improvements, workflows, and system integrations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

🔹 1. Preparation for Elicitation

• Identify key stakeholders, particularly product owners
• Review existing documentation (previous requirements, market research, competitor analysis)
• Prepare questions, checklists, or templates for elicitation sessions

🔹 2. Conduct Requirement Elicitation

• Schedule and conduct interviews or meetings with product owners
• Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, or requirements gathering sessions
• Use structured techniques (interviews, surveys, questionnaires) to gather detailed requirements

🔹 3. Document Business Requirements

• Summarize key points during meetings for clarity
• Ask probing questions to clarify vague or incomplete requirements
• Validate assumptions explicitly with product owners
• Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
• Create Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
• Develop user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria
• Create use cases and user journey maps
• Prioritize requirements based on business value, urgency, complexity, and dependencies
• Categorize requirements (must-have, should-have, nice-to-have)
• Document priority clearly within the requirements documentation

🔹 4. Analyze Requirements for Completeness and Clarity

• Ensure requirements are clear and unambiguous
• Check consistency of requirements with business goals
• Ensure technological feasibility of requirements
• Confirm that requirements are testable and verifiable
• Identify and document gaps or inconsistencies in requirements
